Edge of Outside (DVD)

This fascinating documentary explores the history of independent filmmakers, from the early days of Hollywood to those working in the industry today. Looking at the careers of directors such as Stanley Kubrick, Orson Welles, Sam Peckinpah and Samuel Fuller, the passions and practices of such filmmakers are revealed.

A diverse range of clips from films such as Citizen Kane (1941), A Clockwork Orange (1971), Reservoir Dogs (1992) an Pulp Fictions (1994) are included and show the unforgettable moments that can be created on film if those involved succeed in struggling against the mediocrity in filmmaking.
